Since joining Gross & Rooney, Adam has managed and been involved in every stage of litigation from filing complaints and conducting discovery to running a three-day trial on his own and handling appeals. In so doing, he has handled a wide variety of claims involving everything from wrongful death and medical malpractice, to breach of contract and federal RICO violations. A large portion of Adam’s practice also includes defending one of the largest healthcare providers in Utah, a practice in which he assisted in defeating various actions through dispositive motions and on appeal. Adam has experience litigating in state courts, federal courts, and arbitration. He has also briefed appeals in Utah and in the Tenth and Eleventh Circuits.
Prior to joining Gross & Rooney, Adam clerked for the Honorable Judge Ted Stewart of the United States District Court for the District of Utah. He received his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and completed his law degree at the University of North Carolina where he was Vice President of the Broun National Trial Team and served on the Executive Board of the North Carolina Journal of International Law.
